One week knitting update

Ok, don't judge the lack of progress in a week's time. Let's concentrate on the fact that I have made any progress at all, and that I plan to continue working on it. See, we are really headed out of scarf season right now, so there is no need to finish this anytime in the near future. The group is meeting again next week, so hopefully by then I'll have more to show :)

Here are two quick movie reviews for you.

The Importance of Being Earnest: the one with Colin Firth and Reese Witherspoon that came out around 2005; It was quite enjoyable.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas: so very sad, but so very good.

Your knitting is coming along! I haven't picked up my crocheting since our get together. Also, I love The Importance of Being Earnest, play & movie. Rupert Everett was amazing, don't you think?

Yes he was!

How's the quilt coming along?

Quite nice, Liza...especially for your first go at knitting!!! I'm guessing you only know the "knit" stitch...have you learned to purl yet???

Hope all is well...next, you should learn how to sew!!!

Now let's not get crazy Melissa. Sewing? So not for me! Knitting one scarf a year? Possibly :)

I don't know about this Purl thing you speak of. I just want to get faster at the actual knit stitch right now!

you should knit washrags. i know it sounds kind of crazy, but there are a set of 70 year old twins at church who knit washrags and every so often they will come by the church and give them away to everyone. they really are the happiest days of the year when they come.

help make portland happy, make washrags.

I'll see what I can do. Washrags are smaller than scarves, so that might not be a bad idea!
